About the project
Useful over exhaustive.
Awesome Mobile Growth is René DeAnda’s independent field guide for making app-store pages clearer, more credible, and more useful.
Why it exists
The project began as a collection of mobile-growth links. Over time, open-list dynamics made it more attractive to promoters than practitioners. This edition turns that history into a maintained manual: the durable links become guides, stale tools get transition notes, and every recommendation needs a reason to exist.
How it is edited
Official Apple and Google documentation is the first source for platform behavior. Observations, experiments, hypotheses, and opinions are labeled so confidence is visible. Review dates indicate when volatile details were checked; they are not a guarantee that a platform has stopped changing.
There are no paid placements, affiliate rankings, link swaps, or promotional guest posts. Factual corrections with a precise primary source are welcome. Resource nominations are considered, not automatically listed.
Who it is for
Independent app makers, product and growth teams, and anyone who wants acquisition work to remain accountable to the product experience. It is also a practical reference René uses while building and advising products.
A connected publishing approach
The editorial approach borrows from MarkdownNotes.net: durable writing, readable source material, simple ownership, and content that remains useful outside a feed. The broader product-building context comes from ProductBuilder. Both are René’s projects; they are disclosed here rather than inserted into unrelated recommendations.
Maintained in public
The code, editorial policy, correction process, and change history live on GitHub. The public repository is open for focused corrections and thoughtful contributions, while editorial control stays with the maintainer.
